Users are getting te following msg: Your server administrator has limited the number of items you can open simultaneously. Try closing messages you have opened or removing attachments and images from unsent messages you are composing and in exchange events I see : MAPI session (user) exceeded the maximum of 250 objects of type "objmessage". I wonder if anyone has a fix for missing index items on EV 10 SP4 archiving email and files,having just one EV server. When I run Verify on the indexes I get a small list of mailboxes and File System that have missing items. Hi, I have a user who support have reinstalled EV and even Outlook, but still can't get it to work with Vault. The Archive Explorer or Search buttons just give a white page with no data on it. In Outlook, archived emails shows as stubs in the inbox works fine. From IE, I am able to open searchvaults without issue. So the problem with with Outlook accessing the EV web sites. Running EV 7.5 on Windows 2003. Within Computer Management, I notice there are lots of different EV queues. EV Archive agent admin queue EV Default Admin queue EV Mailbox Task for server1 admin queue EV Restore Agent Admin queue EV Restore spool admin queue EV spool queue EV storage archive EV storage restore Generally, the Mailbox task queue is the busiest. Could someone explain to me what these queues mean? Is there an effect of deleting a queue if it's getting too large? EV version: 10.0.1 OS: Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise ------------------------------------------------- Got this error message when trying to open all archive items in EV integrated search on EV server "could not show this item. try again. if it still fails,contact your help desk. the handle is invalid" The strange thing is if Outlook (2007) is running, the archive can be displayed without issue. So, that means Outlook must be running for the archive items to be click open successfully. I tried going to the direct url : http://evserver/enterprisevault/searcho2k.asp and the issue is the same. Have tried on a user desktop without this issue, so it is happening only on EV server. After installing the 10.0.4 Oulook add-in on multiple machines, I receive the following error every time a user logs into Windows: "Enterprise Vault Outlook Add-In could not establish a connection to your Exchange Mailbox. Restart Outlook and, if the same error occurs repeatedly, call your helpdesk." I suspect that it comes up when Lync is starting. Otherwise, it seems to function properly. Any ideas? Hi all, when someone has a shared mailbox open in their Outlook, they are unable to open archived items in that mailbox, even if they have full permissions. Opening the message brings up a banner that says; "This item has been archived by Enterprise Vault Click here to view the original item" Clicking on that does nothing. "Allow Script in Shared Folders" is set to 'Force On' in all desktop policies (has always been like that). Good afternoon, I am working with a client who has been having an issue where her enteprise vault tab is missing from Outlook 2013. Client setup: Windows 7 x64 Outlook 2013 32-bit in Online mode with one shared mailbox, and three "opened" PSTs attached (two old calendars and one archive of deleted items). Client's online mailbox is the default delivery location. Enterprise Vault Client 10.0.3 add-in. Server Setups: Exchange 2010 EV 9* (not sure of exact version yet) *We have not updated the enterprise vault on the server side because we only use it to access items previously vaulted, and are no longer adding items to the vaults. Issue: Enterprise Vault Tab not appearing in Outlook 2013, add-in shows enabled, and Tab cannot be added back to the ribbon through customization Troubleshooting steps taken: Created new outlook profile Reinstalled EV Client Repaired Office 2013 Configured the Exchange Desktop Policy \ Advanced \ Outlook \ Remove PST Entries = 0 (was set to 1). [This just enabled, have not verified it's fixed it yet -- but this is labeled as a "workaround"] Discoveries: A new profile worked until I added the PST files back to the client's profile. When Outlook was re-opened after adding them, the tab disappeared. Users are getting error (banner) that states "There is a problem loading this item.. some functionality may not be available. When clicking on the banner, it shows error code [OIOM] 80070005. Also the text or content of the archive items are cut-off. I hope someone who encountered this in past can help us resolve the issue. Folks Ihave wiered question, Please help me, Issue: Enterprise vault outlook add in disapeared all of sudden, was working for a day, tried uninstalling and re-installing EV- http outlook add in no luck even tried " EVclientreset.exe" no luck. Asked user to login to another pc where ev was working fine for other user but not this user, i am stuck for now, I have to migrate tonnes of pst over 350 users, this is just the begining only completed 15 users, I am guessing this issue is user specific. he is not getting ev icons on his outlook, others will get if they logged in his pc. Please need your contribution to troubleshoot this issue,I spent over more than an hour to fix this issue with noluck, I know this user will definitely pull my pants off tomorow.
