Backup Exec Stopped Services
Hi, Im running Backup Exec 2010 on a Windows 2008 R2 Server and I've been experiencing a strange problem the last few weeks. Every morning when I log onto the server I am greeted by the backup exec services manager dialog box that prompts me to restart the backup exec services. Since they have all been stopped overnight apparently for some reason I have to restart the services every morning and this is getting really frustrating. Hi, I have problems with 4 users mailboxes for other hunders there isn't any problem. In Enterprise Vault their archived mailboxes are empty. Dear, good morning. I would like to make clear in this discussion, the importance that we give the integrity of our data, in particular our emails. We constantly see people everywhere reporting infections on their desktops and applications, but I do not see reporting as contracted. Importance would be a good integrity of our emails because we feed them well (cybercriminals) with new weapons by obtaining data on which they should not. Social networks registered with corporate e-mail, blogs registered with corporate e-mail etc., make each day are more targeted. As security expert, I always make sure that after all always looking for a culprit for a serious infection or destructive, and at the end of everything as it always has to have a fault, this is a security solution, but we learn that , we have to create its own policy of security as well. Attached to this discussion, is a video explaining the step taken by an attacker to collect e-mails and perform intrusion attempts with new weapons all the time are created by these criminals. Remember, a cracker does not use steps "maldados," they create their own weapons and new weapons to attack, so we never have a 100% solution, but if you create a good security policy in yourself, then it will be secured 100%, because a good percentage depends on your security solution, and so another good percentage is up to you forever! Hi, We are currently using Enterprise Vault v10.0.2.1112 for Exchange, SharePoint and File Shares (FSA). Due to issues and concerns we are now considering dropping the SharePoint and FSA components and only retaining Exchange (maybe even dropping that). Can anyone advise on/recommend some UK Partners who can assist us, as i'm sure most of our issues/concerns are down to our set-up and not the product itself. The sweetener for any partners will be the potential consultancy if we decide to stay with Enterprise Vault and upgrade to the latest release, and the possibility of procuring and installing additional Enterprise Vault add-ons. Good evening all, I am currently researching regulation in community/citizen scientist biotechnology and the difficulties involved with regulating an industry once it is in the hands of the citizenry, and lately I have been considering a slightly different approach that could potentially avoid this problem. I have been drawing from examples in the computer industry (especially for the open-source trend) and remembered Symantec's response to the Conficker virus. My understanding is that there is a group of programmers (forgive my ignorance, this is not my field at all!) that try to prevent viruses and respond to them as soon as they are discovered. Is there a site at which I could access the specific policies under which these programmers operate? How about strategies (I know there is an instant update system in your antivirus tool, and I would imagine a notification system should I come across a truly novel virus that updates the information to these programmers, or is my speculation incorrect?). There are some specifics I would like to compare with the possibility of implementing a "task force" of a similar nature in dealing with human viruses and biological threats posed by certain extremist groups. Hi I am unable to raise a case on MySymantec. I've completed all the fields correctly, or so I thought. But when I submit it I get ""Either Courtesy or Entitlement required for creating case". What does that mean? I have a customer ID and a "Notification" Number. Dear all, I have recently installed Netbackup 7.0 for Unix on a Unix (Solaris 10 _ X86) platform machine. The server is Sun Fire X4270 attached directly to SUN SL48 Tape library (through fiber). The Master server is not able to auto-discover or access to robot, but it is able to detect the 2 tape drives. I am getting the following error: cannot connect to robotic software daemon (42) However, I have a secondary site where I have the exactly the same machine type (SUN Fire X4270 with Solaris 10 X86)) and tape library (SL48). I also I have installed the same patches on both servers. The second server is a media server that is attached to SL48 directly through fiber connection. The robot is correctly functioning with no issue. I have tried to install the robot using the sg.install script, but i got the following error: Warning: Driver (sg) successfully added to system but failed to attach WARNING: /usr/sbin/add_drv failed.
