Change Backup Exec Media Server IP address

Hi Is it possible to change ip adress of Backup Exec Media server after install Backup Exec 2014 ? Thank you

    If the server name is the same then you can simply change the IP address. You should also go to each remote server, run the BE Remote Agent Utility and check that they are not publishing to the old IP address. If they do then you need to change the IP address to the new one. You got to do this manually

    As well as PKH advice you may need to flush local DNS caches for name resolution (ipconfig /flushdns), so do a few ping tests between remotes servers and the media server (using hostname and FQDN) just to make sure that the change has bneen picked up by your name resolution environment.
