Similar function does exist in newer releases of BE. Are you receiving any error while running the search ?

No, I just need to run the search in Exec 2015. So are you telling me it's not possible?

I mentioned it is possible & was asking are you receiving any error while running the "search" ?
- MarlonHarewood1Level 3
No, no error, I just don't know how to run the search funcitionality for a specific file type, I can't see to find it.

From the Backup & Restore tab, right-click the server and choose "Search". You will get a dialog box mentioning "Search for files and folders". Click Next and specify search criteria as desired.

Great, thank you. I noticed this functionality previous, but I couldn't seem to see the catalog I was looking for. I have catalogued the information from a LTO tape. Sorry, should have been a little more clear.

Happens, been there :)

But can it be done from a LTO tape? the backup & restore only seems to show servers. Once I've catalogued an LTO tape can I search that info? I can't seem to see my catalogued information any where under backup / restore, only under storage.

Ah ok, I can see the server name which was on the LTO tape now under backup and restore.
Another quick question, how can I search for a .pst? does it have to be .pst, or *.pst* ?

You can search for .pst in multiple ways such as *.pst or user.pst etc.
