Tape Catalog Not Working

Hi All,

 

I have afew old tapes that won't catalog.  The catalog seems to run for about 30 seconds until the job completes and when i try to restore data it shows nothing.  However when i look at the stats of the tape it shows 95% of the capacity used.  I'm sure there is data on the tape just don't know how to get around this.  They were created in BE 11 and now we have 12.5.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

    In the restore selection list, have you selected the Starting backup date and Ending backup date options???

    Try unchecking those options and then see if you are able to see the required data for restore.

    Sorry for teh delay Sush!!  After so many days with no reply i just forgot about it.  Unchecking those boxes did take care of my issue.  Thanks for the follow up.
