I have got Symantec to say 100% that DLO does not work on a RT surface.
I have a client with a surface with Windows 8 pro on it. They do not say it will work but will not say it does.
Has anyone tried or have this working on one?

According to the DLO 7.5 Compatibility Matrix, while Windows 8 is supported, Windows 8 RT is not.
If you can get it installed and working, it won't be supported.

...I suspect that is your answer. They probably haven't tested tablets for backups using DLO...

Yea they told me about the RT stuff. According to the client I am getting ready to try and do this on the surface has Windows 8 pro on it and it is not a RT. And the BE guy I talked to would not say if it would work. So I am kind of assuming the same thing that it will not be supported then either ??
