Getting Below Errors on Journal Server.

Due to errors accessing the index volume it has been marked as 'failed' to prevent further errors. The index volume will remain inaccessible until it has been repaired.

While performing a Search using DA or CA i get error that Index is not updated or failed.
But while checking the index volume using the Vault console. i dont see any Index failed or updating.
They all look as updated but still i get this error any idea where do i look for this.
Followed the below steps.
1. Stop the Index service from TASk
2. Rename the failed Index Folder
3. Start the Index service from TASK
4. Index update has been started.
