Backup Exec 2012 Credentials for restore failing
I am recoveing a server completely, so have done a base build, same OS and SP as the backed up server and same netbios name, the base build just has an account called administrator with the password,...
Have you added this new server in domain?
If you have not then the credentials you should use is Machinename\administrator
If the server is added to the domain the credentials which you will use will be domainname\administrator
Also in case if the machine is not in domain and at time of backup this was in domain you need to add a DNS suffix on the new server
