Requirement for Outlook 2013

I need some advice on the following setup. I am planning to deploy OL2013 on Win7. We are using EV 9.0 (Win 2003 64 bit). Can i install ev addins 10.0.4 on the workstation to make it work OR EV server should be upgraded from 9.0 to 10.0.4 in order to support OL2013 on user workstation ?
The Outlook Add-in is supported +1 / -1 to the server version. So, EV 9 is okay on the server, with 10.0.4 Outlook Add-in on the client... however you might want to take a look at this gotcha relating to mixed server/client versions:

And of course you'll be okay if you have 9.0.4 on the server (You don't see which service pack you have on the server)
