MSDP pool size in 5330

Hi All,

Any idea the different capacity versions the appliance is coming in and the max MSDP pool size in 5330.

  • We received the following from Symantec Product Manager about the 5330:

    • Media server with deduplication
       • No Master role, runs N2.6.1 (NetBackup N7.6.1) 
    • Dual 10 Core, 3.0GHz CPUs, 384GB RAM (performance) 
    • 114TB and 229TB usable capacity
       • Dual, FC, RAID controllers (performance, resilience)
       • 60x 3TB drives, 2 hot spare, per shelf (performance, resilience)
       • Maximum 2 storage shelves
       • Physical Size 6U to 10U (high storage density)
    • Mix and match dedupe and Advanced Disk
    • Connectivity
       • 5 available I/O configura+ons
       • 4x 1GbE, Up to 10x 10GbE 
       • Up to 8x 8Gbps FC

  • 114TB and 229TB.  You can have the MSDP pool consume all or part of that capacity.
