Backup failure of Windows Backup Client(Status 230)

Hello !

If you perform an automatic backup according to the policy, the backup fails with the message below.

"the specified policy does not exist in the configuration database (230)"

This is a problem that occurred after updating from MR3 to MR5. Before the update, there were no problems with backups.

The backup target is a Windows server, what should I check?

NetBackup Appliance 4.1.0.1 MR5

Windows Server 2019

    it is a file system backup or SQL backup?
    And if it is an SQL backup, is it a legacy policy (with script) or VIP ?

        Hi gum_st 

        Can you share the output of "bppllist <policy>" please?

        Do you have any language locales in use?

        In the meantime, try to copy the policy to a new one and see if you can run the new policy.
