Issue with Exchange backup

Please post the o/p of bppllist <policy name> - L

Software upgrade will not change multi-stream backup into single stream.

Something else has changed.

Are other jobs queued while one is active? If so, what is the reason in Activity Monitor for jobs being queued?

Check Master server Host Properties -> Global Properties. 
What is Max Jobs per Client set to?

In Policy - what is Limit jobs per policy set to?

And lastly - when the jobs are queued - what is the reason for this?

I just had another look at the policy output in your posts above.

You show 2 outputs for the same policy name, but the Backup Selection is totally different.

Why is that?

In both outputs, the same databases appear multiple times. Why is that?

what is maximum drives and multi pexing value set for storage unit?

how many clients in policy ?

is all strems are for smae client and for same policy ?

Whais is storage unit type ? disk or tape?
