Master Server Name: Netbackup

Netbackup Version 7.6

Oprating System:- Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise 64 Bits

Media Server NBU Version 7.6.1.1

Media Server Name:- BMD-SRV4

Oprating System:- Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise 64 Bits

Robot Controller Host Media Server

Media Server 7.6.1.1   Media Server Name:ftmeida with one Robot Controller configured 

Oprating System:- Linux

Error:- no images were successfully processed (191)

    NetBackup OpsCenter Server has to be same or higher than NetBackup Master Server...

    ...but...

    ...NetBackup Client (on OpsCenter Server) has be same or lower than NetBackup Media Server.

    Have a look at the duplication job: Your source and destination is the same.

    Initiating optimized duplication from @aaaaQ to @aaaaQ

    This is not supported, hence the error. 

    Critical bpdm(pid=6196) Storage Server Error: (Storage server: PureDisk:bmd-srv4) impl_copy_extent_direct: Optimized duplication is not supported when source and target servers are the same. V-454-85

    You need to select a different Storage Unit as duplication target.

      Thanks marianne for your prompt replly as per your instruction i changed the destination but still the SLP is active and unable to duplicate on tapes.

      Weekly_Oracle_TapeBackup (active) 25 1670297 MB

      Total: 25 1670297 MB

      may i know to run the slp mannualy to duplicated on tape drive.

        When you change the SLP config, you create a new version. 

        So, if there is a problem with version x (same source and target STU) and you change this config to new STU, you create version x+1. 
        The job that ran against version x will keep on trying to use the incorrect STU as per version x config.

        If you are happy that the new config is correct, you need to list version numbers, then modify the SLP version with incorrect STU to change to correct STU.

        Start by listing all versions for this SLP:

        nbstl Weekly_Oracle_TapeBackup -L -all_versions
