Media Ownership

Hi.  I have an old HP-UX server with Oracle DB whose version (6.5) is no longer supported by NetBackup 7.x.  I was able to backup the server and the Oracle database.  I now want to restore the said b...

    Changing media ownership with media-id as option is correct. You can change all images belonging to this media server to another media server with bpimage command. You may also want to read up on nbdecommission to completely decommission the 6.5 media server. About the FORCE_RESTORE entry that did not work: in future, ensure that you have bprd log folder on the master ( restart NBU after creating folder) to see how the entry is evaluated. The most common problem is typo error. PS: Please mark Riaan's post as solution.
