My testing (NOTE: all was done with images created with GRT and were still on disk):
- Restore (overwrite) Exchange 2010 message back to Exchange 2010 mailbox. This was extremely helpful in another way: it got me the syntax to use when restoring back to the Exchange 2010 non-DAG environment.
- Restore (overwrite) Exchange 2013 message back to Exchange 2013 mailbox. This was to prove basic functionality.
- Restore (overwrite) Exchange 2010 message to different Exchange 2013 mailbox. Since I had the syntax from the first test, this was easy.
I hope this is what you were looking for! (Unfortunately I'm not out of the woods yet - we have 2 mailboxes in one of the DBs in the 2013 DAG environment but I can only see one. :-( Working with support on it now.)
Best,
Michelle
