StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library Driver

Hi,

StorageTek SL150 Modular Tape Library has two drivers. Last time, I've created a thread regarding to the tape stuck in the drive (https://vox.veritas.com/t5/NetBackup/The-eject-operation-has-completed-with-errors/m-p/826099#M224370).

Monitoring the issue, it seems the drive where the tape was stuck still not used. Based on the log, tape used only one drive. Is there a command or way to check the "status" of each drive?

Thank you in advance..

  • vmoprcmd will show if drives are UP (TLD) or DOWN.

Maybe best to verify that the OS can see and access all hardware, as well as the NBU sg driver.

    Check output of:
    cfgadm -al | grep tape
    mt -f /dev/rmt/#cbn status
    scan
    sgscan
    tpautoconf -t
    tpautoconf -r
