I have a Windows 2003 std server SP1 (upgraded from 2000) & Exchange 2003. Since the upgrade I have had problems using remote backup agent for backing up the Shadow Copy. I have read many readme's without any joy.
I do not have AOFO installed onto the Server, I have installed & uninstalled AOFO to try to over come the problem.

I have tried disabling the RSM service.
I have tried disabling Symantec anti-virus.

Windows backup allows me to backup the System State to file.

And one final note I used BE 9.1 to backup the SS without any problems.
