Access to a device was not authorized with this edition of Backup Exec.

hi,

Backup Exec for Windows Servers 10.1d was installed at my windows2003 server. Everything was normal, all jobs works properly until 20 october. After this time server restart unexpected than I uninstall Backup Exec so , server return to normal.

I reinstall Backup Exec and remote agent. I applied same jobs but it gives fallowing error "Access to a device was not authorized with this edition of Backup Exec"

please help me.

hi,

I solve "Access to a device was not authorized with this edition of Backup Exec"
, but My server REBOOT problem continue.

My Configuration is as below

Windows 2003 Server Std. Edition
Ms SQL server 2000
Backup Exec 10d.1

After installation of Backup Exec 10d.1 my server reboot abnormal 4 times a day. There is no sign in Event viewer, its like electrical cut off. After remote agent installation to an other server abnormal reboot increase 9 times a day.

I need solution immdiently
