An unexpected database exceptoin occurred

I have several servers giving me this error when I try to open Backup Exec. We are using Backup Exec 10 with the 5520 upgrade on a Windows 2003 server OS. All I have been able to find on the knowledge base is that my hard drive is full and that can not be the case we have 26.1Gb of free space. Can some one help me fix this. I can not open the backup software because of this error.

As this was very helpful. I ran a repair and a recovery and both responded with ended with errors. Any suggestions?

How dumb can one person be. I found my problem thanks to the beutility. I had turned the firewall setting on in the primary backup server to run some test and forgot to set the ports for the backup system. What a HOMER moment! Thanks for all the help!
