backups were working great and then one afternoon server crashed with an error relating to hardware and after restart we get this error when backup exec server service starts. Uninstalled backup exec and reinstalled with getting sp2 installed but still have same problem. We are using veritas tape drive drivers. That are showing that they have loaded in the device manager.
We are using Microsoft sequal server 2005 full version
We are using 11d build 7170
Message that comes up is can not start the backup exec server service on local computer error 1067 the process terminated unexpectedly.
then the visual studio comes up and asks if you want to debug select yes and it states that an unhandled execption at 0x0051383f in beser.exe 0xc0000005:access violation reading location 0x046b5004
