Auto response to overwrite prompt

I have a Daily backup job set up, and marked to always overwrite the existing media. The job is scheduled to run nightly. When the job starts, it asks for permission to overwrite the media. I am unable to find the setting which will bypass this prompt and automatically overwrite.

Can anyone assist, please?

You could change themedia overwrite protection level to none but this wouldn't be recommended. Check out document page 203-4 of the BE Admin Guide about overwriting media.

Go to Tools | Options | Media Management. There is a check box related to 'Prompt before overwriting...' Just uncheck this checkbox and the jobs should run normally.

Thanx! That appears to be the setting I needed. Will know for sure when the job runs tonight.
