BE2010 LTO-5 speed regulation

Hi all.

W2k3 x64, BE2010 13.0(2896), HP Storage Works Ultrium 3000 SAS (LTO-5).

The last couple of weeks had problems with recording to tape (jobs are not fully recorded on the tape and every time cleaning cartridge required. Error E00084EC). LT&T assessment test:

Can i regulation tape speed in Backupexec or register (want to set the speed = 2-3m/sec)? I want to try writing the information has not yet received the new device.

No, Backup Exec doesn't allow the user to control the tape write speed.

Maybe you can run backups to disk until you receive the replacement tape drive?
