BE2012: backup exec

Hi there,

I define a job in order to do a full backup of my exchange server (files and information store).

When I go in the restoration and restore files: I don't see the file database edb of exchange 2010.

Is it normal ? I am surprised as it is file.

Hi

When you backup Exchange with BE2012 from information store considering if it is a GRT backup then you would have option to restore individual items and restore exchange database what option you have selected in restore wizard.

Hello,,

      You would not be able to see the EDB in the under the file/folders restore "This is normal as exchange items (despite the EDB being a file) are not restored from this location". exchange items are restored under the Microsoft exchange option within the restore wizard.
