Hi,

Is the Backup Exec Licensing Assesment Tool still present in Backup Exec 2014? If not how would you go about making sure you are licensed correctly in large enviroments?

...yes it is, check under the Tools menu.

Just be aware that it might not show an accurate reflection of your licenses, so double-check what it displays with what you have.

In BE 2014 it is not under the tools menu, but if you go to the BE Program files folder, there is a subfolder called License Assesement Tool and the BELAT.exe files can be run from there.

Please be aware that it should be used as a guide only and cannot be considered as a Compliancy Management Guarantee as there are situtaions where it may mis-report required licenses.
