BEWA 10.0 using BE 8.6

W have to manage version upggrade form BE 8.6 to a new 10.0 (SP1) media server.
We would upggrade the BEWS on current NT / W2K target servers befor using the 10.0 media server.

May is possible backing up target server using BEWS 10.0 from BE 8.6 media server ?

Could you please explain the problem in detail?

Did you run the upgrade on the same server where 8.6 was installed or they are two different servers?


You would need to upgrade all the remote target servers to 10.0 version.

Do you wish to backup the 10.0 server using the 8.6 version on another server?

If yes, whats the Operating system of the server on which 10.0 is installed?
