Backup Exec 10d on SQL 2005 SP2

Hello,
we have a problem with using SQL 2005 SP2 to keep Backup Exec 10d DB on
Windows 2003 std edition R2 with SP1.
Backup Exec is located on the same server as SQL 2005, SQL 2000 on another.
Firstly we try to move BEDB from SQL 2000 SP 4 to SQL 2005 SP 2 using Technote http://support.veritas.com/docs/271620. But when we entered a destination SQL Server instance the error appeared:

An unhandled win32 exception occurred in BEUtility.exe [2648].
After that BEUtility.exe was closed.

If we try to use "local" to point at the SQL instance, the error appears that "there is no SQL instance at this location".

So, we decided to reinstall BE. But during installation while Environment Check, the following warning message appears: An instance of Microsoft SQL 2000 was found that is not updated to Service Pack 3a

And after that installation can't proceed.
The Technote http://support.veritas.com/docs/287343 isn't applicable.

Does 10d supports SQL 2005 sp2 ?
How can we move the existing BEDB to the SQL 2005 ?

BE10d can back SQL 2005 up, but can't have the BE database stored on SQL 2005. See SQL 2005 with Backup Exec 10d
