Backup Exec 11d - Managed Media Servers not showing up in Media Servers tab, jobs won't run, etc.

After Installing Central administration server, and push install to another Media server.
the managed media server is not showing up in the media servers tab.
i don't know if this valid but i have checked the BEDB and copied a record form a table on BEDB on the managed media server and insert it as a second record in the BEDB on the central admin server.
restart the services on CAS and its working fine now,

Editing the database is not the right thing as it should appear if everything is right. Have you checked the registry on the MMS if it is pointing to CASO or not. Also you could have tried intalling the mms locally on remote server by putting the check mark in license and option.
