Backup Exec 11d compatible with older agents

We are planning to upgrade our Backup Exec 9.1 versions to Backup Exec 11d.
On the remote server we have installed a couple of agents like SQL Agent and Windows Agent.

My question is if we can use the installed/old versions of the agents with BE11d or do we need to upgrade the agents to?

All SQL\Exchange\Notes\Oracle agents must be updated to match the new media server

Remote Agents must also  be updated

Just so I don't create another thread for no reason - Ken (since you seem to be quite experienced), we're probably going to do the same soon (upgrade 9.1 to 11d with several agents), so are we likely to encounter any problems in upgrading the agents? We don't run CA's antivirus, so that problem's irrelevant, but I don't know about any others. Thank you!

Upgrading the remote agents is really easy, and doesn't seem to be particularly problematic.
