After SEP was removed from our windows 2003 Server (64 bit) I have not been able to run the backup or update the backup exec. I was unable to repair/reinstall so I tried to uninstall which I couldn't using normal means. I then followed the procedure to manually uninstall backup exec - this appeared to work as described. However, when I attempt the install after the reboot it crashes immediately after I start the installation, a small msg box opens and closes so fast that if you blink you literally miss it and it's impossible to read. The following was written to the bkupinst.log in the windows directory.

InitData failed to open the cluster wrapper***Failed. went into writelog, but did not send to log server
m_bUseNativeClient = 1
Any help in getting this product installed and working once again will be greatly appreciated.
