Backup Exec 2010 R2

Dears,

Ihave Backub Exec 2010 R2 Installed on win2003 SP2 32 Bit and i need to upgrade the windows to win2008 R2 64 Bit so the best practise from microsoft is format the server and fresh installation so i ask about the Backup exec best practise to work on the new platform

1) Make a copy of DATA and CATALOGS folder

2) Install new OS

3) Install Backup Exec and then replace existing DATA and CATALOGS folder

4) I would suggest to upgrade to BE2010 R3 once the above process is completed

Ensure the server names are the same too, otherwise you may need to run some additional tools to update the database configuration.
