Backup Exec 2010 and Exchange 2010 error

Hi

Backup exec 2010 is running on a Windows 2003 SP2 64bit operating system.
It has Exchange 2007 management tools installed.
But cant install Exchange 2010 management tools as it is only supported on Win 7, Win Vista SP2, Win 2008 SP2 and Win 2008 R2.
Tried installing Backup exec on Win 2008 R2 but had to much issues.

I am getting the following error on my Backup exec 2010 as well.

Final error: 0xe0000380 - Backup Exec attempted to back up an Exchange database according to the job settings. The database was not found in the Database Availability Group (DAG), however. Update the selection list and run the job again.
Final error category: Resource Errors

Tried all these configurations already.

To protect Exchange 2010, you must install Backup Exec on a Microsoft Windows 2008 SP2 64-bit media server

or a Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 64-bit media server.
