Backup Exec 8.5 and removable harddrives

Hello all:

I am trying to use a removable harddrive to backup a 2000 server and I am using Backup Exec 8.5. I cannot seem to figure out how to get this version to back up to hard disk. I found information for 9.6 but nothing for 9.5. Can this be done? And if so can you point me to where the information is?

Can't do it.

v8.6 was the first to support Backup-to-Disk. That's the reason that it was not a free upgrade.
