Here's my situation:
I have a single backup job set to run at 1130pm every weekday night. I copy about 200MB to a 20 GB tape. I do full backups of all the data that I have selected each and every weekday night.
For over 23 days, the job continued to run because it was alerting me to change the tape. I do not want an automated response to the alert. I would like for the job to just timeout after trying to run. Normally, the job would take no more than 25 minutes. I would like to set the job to timeout after attempting to run for 6 hours, lets say. At which time, the job would fail and I would get an email stating such via the Notification setup that I have completed.
Any idea how I can do this? What do I need to do to get this to work?
