Backup Exec 9.1 with Half Heigh IBM LTO2

Hi,
 
is there anyway that the IBM HH LTO2 (39M5658) can be supported on 9.1?
 
I checked the Windows Servers Hardware Compatibility List but only the 59P6744 is listed. (Full Heigh)
 
I also tried the IBM driver but with no succes.
 
Will this work without an upgrade?

If NTBackup sees and accesses that drive using manufacturer;s drivers ( or Symantec drivers for that matter), BackupExec should be able to use the same drivers
 
What errors do you get when you try to use the IBM driver?

There were errors that were refering to hardware errors.
 
it proved to be that a 10.1 license was purchased so we installed version 10 that supports the HH lto2.
 
Problem solved.
