Hi
I've recently inheritied a system which uses Backup Exec 11d to back up mulitple file servers. I've never really used this program before. Can someone tell me with this program, once you buy the software and you then buy the Windows Agent can this agent be handed out to as many servers as you like or do you buy a new license for each server which is being backed up on the network?
If someone could clear this up for me it would be much apreciated.
Many Thanks
Dave

One remote agent for windows servers license can be at a time used with one windows machine only. If you have 5 windows servers to be backedup by BE thn you have to buy 5 remote agent licenses for windows.

You require one license per server . One Wondows remoe agent key can be bundled for multiple server i.e it might be site license which allows you to back up xx number of services , so you would need to check the license detail
