Backup Exec and Exchange 2007 SP1

Hi there, have a client running Exec 11d and Exchange Server 2007 SP1.  Upgrading to Exchange SP2.  Documentation says 11d does not support SP2.  Which way around shall we upgrade?  Exchange service pack first or Backup Exec 12.5 first?

Upgrade Backup Exec first, without the proper Backup Exec version you will never get a successfull backup.

By the way: Why are you going to upgrade to 12.5, why not upgrade to 2010R2 if you have a maintenance contract ?

client is running W2K3 x64 SP2.  I'm being cautious the jump from 11d to 2010 might cause problems.  I was going to use 12.5 as an interim step.  It's a high volume server.
