Hi,

Can anyone advice about below mentioned erros. These are leading towards a hardware failure or any issue with Backup exec ?

Is the specific tape drive model on the Veritas supported hardware list? Are you using the Veritas tape driver?

yes, the same hardware is in use for last 2 years with backup exec 8.6. 2 weeks before we have upgraded to 10.0.

Please install the latest veritas drivers for Backup Exec 10.0 from following link.

Also check for event id's 11 and 9 in system event logs. they indicate hardware errors.
