Anyone - Help!


Does anyone has success adding tape library (DSI 2200) on Backup Exec v8.6?

The tape library and HP LTO3 does not come with a driver.

Suport for one library with one tape drive is free. When you (re)install BackupExec, make sure that you specify AutoLoader Support

You should be abkle to get drivers for both the loader and drive from the manufacturer support site. I'm almost certain that b8.6 does not provide a driver for LTO3 You can check teh HCL here http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/272874.htm

As long as NTBackup sees both the drive and loader, BackupExec should be able to use the same driversMessage was edited by:
