Can anyone help,
I have two seperate backup 11d servers at different sites having the same problems.
I have a job setup to backup a windows domain controller ( using the remote agent) then the backup server its self.
the job hangs on pre-processing, if I restart the remote agent service on the domain controller the job continues ( backs up its self )
The job I have set up does not include any shadow copy stuff only the local drives.
( just to confuse things a little more , somtimes the complete job runs fine)
at one site the dc is 2k the other it's 2003.
any help would be great.
