Hi everyone...
I have an odd problem which I cant get hold of - I have FOUR backup jobs which are being run daily and have a retention of 3 days each. For some strange reason the server is running out of space even though there is an extra >200GB availabe in reality. Let me explain...
As you can see from the below there are 26 files which make up the backup sets and they add up to 622.19GB approx...

Still the folder where the data is being saved is reporting that there is DOUBLE the amount of files (26x2) and the data is 813GB!

What could be the reason for this? I have to expire jobs each time! :((

With a 3 day retention rate, the bkfs will not be reused/overwritten for 3 days. So on day 1 if your backup creates 26 backup to disk files, when day 2 backups run, it will create another 26 backup to disk files (for a total of 52 files). At least thats what I think is going on. When I try and zoom into your screenshots I can't make some of the finer details.
