When I try to run any reports with BackupExec 9.0 I get the following message: "Unable to run report. No further information available" I checked and and the following directories are created. \\program files\veritas\backup exec\nt\reports\saved\html
If I run a new report I get the following error:
The job failed with the following error: The Crystal Reports DLL reported an error.

Please help.

Hello,

We suggest you try stopping all the BEWS services and registering the Crystal Reports DLLs. From command prompt navigate to \program files\veritas\Backup Exec\NT and run REGSVR32 against the following (syntax regsvr32 :(
- crpe32.dll
- EXLATE32.dll
- p2sevt.dll
- p2soledb.dll
Run the report again and observe the results.

Hope this helps you.

Regards

I tried registering the DLL's you methioned and got this error: "crpe32.dll was loaded, but the DllInstall entry point was not found. DllInstall may not be exported, or a corrupt version of crpe32.dll may be in memory. Consider using Pview to detect and remove it'
