C Drive Backup Strategy

I am looking for a strategy to backup my c drive on about 9 servers. Typically, the only data on c is the OS and maybe some applications. The data is usually stored on D or higher.

Each of these systems are backed up nightly which inlcudes, system state and Data drives, NOT c.

I would not expect C data needs to be backed up everynight, so I would like to run full backups maybe weekly or monthly to b2d on my media server.

Does anyone have suggestions on the best strategy for backing up C drives. How often? How long should I make an overwrite protection, ect.

Hi,

There is no such documents like Best Practices on Backup strategies, it purely depends upon your need. As in your case you have to set proper Overwrite Protection Period(OPP) and Append Period(AP) to the media sets.
