Can BE16 read BE2012 Tape?

Hi there, I have some tape stored backup images created by BE 12. Can BE 16 version read BE 2012 Tape, backup and restore?

Your topic header says BE 2012, your topic body says BE 12...which one is it? That said they write in the same format, so there (technically) shouldn't be an issue. Simply Inventory the tape, then Catalog it, and during the restore process, select the correct date range! BE will not necessarily select the date of the tape. Thanks!

There should be no problems reading the tape, but if the program version or feature is no longer supported by BE 16 then you can restore from the backup set
