I have BE11d with Exchange agent enabled. I'm doing backups of Exchange Server 2003 SP2 (not VSS).
Now I need to restore the Information Store to get some deleted items of a mailbox.
I already created the RSG and added a Database (not mounted) according to the Veritas support doc.
When I run the restore job I see that he tries to restore directly to the Online Information Store, and it quits with the following error:
"Error category : Resource Errors
Error : e000ff00 - Unable to restore some Microsoft Exchange components because
one or more of the databases are currently mounted or because the Recovery
Storage Group is not properly configured. Use the Exchange System Manager to
check the configuration of the Recovery St"
I cross-checked all the requirements to do the RSG restore and didn't find anything wrong.
Does anyone have a idea on what's wrong?
