Compiling a Sumarry of Backup Log

How would I go about compiling a summary of the sucessful backup? I was told I can do a custom log but I have no idea where to start.

I'd just like something summarizing the backup and what errors or events occured and I'd also like it in PDF format if possible.

You can have this in Reports format. Kindly refer the admin guide fro Backup Exec v9.1 for the details about it.
