Create a custom alert for jobs with "Elapsed time" greater than "x hours".

I have a recurring problem in my backup jobs during the weekend. Some tasks are locked, leaving more than 60 hours of elapsed time and growing. I need in that cases like this Backup Exec generate an alert and send a message to my email.

I use the Backup Exec 2010 r3 in a Windows Server 2008.

I am afraid that it is not possible to create such an alert.

For jobs that takes longer than usual, check that there are no outstanding alerts.  For some alerts, you can configure an auto-response. For most alerts, you can set the alert to send an e-mail.
