DLO Minimum Bandwidth Query

Hi,
I understand that there is a profile setting for DLO agents, where the maximum bandwidth usage can be set for backup opererations.

My question is whether there is any way for the agent to detect the available network link speed, and suspend its network backup operation if link speed is lower than a certain threshold?

One of the uses I would have for this is remote laptop users, connecting with GPRS data cards. As GPRS is a metered service, people are racking up large bills due to DLO operations when they are off site.

Same Question.... is there an answer?  How do I keep my users on using AT&T or Verizon GOBI cards, as well as other Mobile Internet Connectivity from backing up while on those connections?
