HELP!

V-79-57344-33938 -
An error occurred on a query to database .
V-79-57344-33938 - Logical file '' is not part of database ''. Use RESTORE FILELISTONLY to list the logical file names.

Can I somehow control the beremote? Or the SQL Server?

There are several technotes on the subject, click this link to see them:

More detail, such as SQL version, server version, SP levels, type of job being run, etc. would be helpful to provide more detailed answers.

Thanks for your reply. I've already checked the solutions mentioned on the support site. I'm in contact with the telephony support already and been transferred to the advanced level, so I guess it's a serious problem...

Do you know if it's possible to restore the SQL backup files as a regular file?

Backup Exec 11d
Windows 2000 SP 4
SQL Server 2000 SP 3a
Restore job

No, SQL DB files must be restored to a live SQL server.

Ok, the following occured:

Our database server is reinstalled, but we have created a backup using 11d.

After reinstalling we've restored the databases (approx. 20) using the backup and all databases succeeded except for two. BE gives us the error as in the messages I've send before. We have tried every SQL option in the restore screen however no luck.

Can I somehow have influence on the SQL commands used by BE, as it is a typical SQL Server error message.

You can not directly manipulate the SQL commands used by Backup Exec.
If you want to give me your support case # I can follow up there and get the case put into the appropriate hands to resolve this issue quickly.
