We have 11d all the updates.
 
I get this error on ther server that has Backup Exec installed and only sometimes:
 
Backup- IQITS\BKUPEXEC An unknown or unexpected database error occurred while attempting a DBCC.
Database 'STS_IQITS_1' is already open and can only have one user at a time.
Help! Thanks. :)

Richard,

Did you install another database into the Backup Exec instance of SQL? 

Regardless, normally when I see this it is because the database is locked by another application and it will not let any other processes access it.

I’m not sure how to tell what is where but Backup Exec was installed with the SQL 2000 light or whatever it is and then latter on SQL 2005 was installed. I thought the database in question was its own. I also thought with an SQL Agent this should not be an issue.
