Hi,
our customer has Backup Exec 2010 installed on Windows 2003 Standard Edition;
tapes are managed with "HP 1/8 G2 Autoloader".
One cleaning job is scheduled every monday, in the morning, and it works fine.
The problem is the following: when an "Inventory" job is launched by the HP Autoloader Console,
after about five minutes the "Last Cleaning Date" in the BU Exec Console ("Device" tab) is updated;
however, in the "Job Monitoring" pan only the Inventory job is present.
So I'm asking: the cleaning job has been performed, or not? If yes, why? We have launched only the Inventory.
If not, why the "Last Cleaning Date" has been updated?
I've searched both on the Symantec as well as the HP Knoledge Base but unsuccessfully.
